As you can imagine, without this dynamic update feature, the DNS database would quickly become a hopeless mess of incorrect name to IP mappings. Not to sound like a commercial, but if you implement Microsoft DNS, you can be assured of compatibility between DHCP and DNS. If you use BIND or another DNS service, you should perform some testing to make certain that your DNS servers can receive dynamic updates from DHCP.

Figure 15-3 offers a more professional and effective way of giving feedback that might actually result in a change for the better.
