in this chapter, a domain-based namespace enables higher availability by having multiple servers host the namespace by reading from AD; this is generally the best option However, with Windows Server 2008, a standalone namespace can now be hosted on a cluster In addition, if the namespace is being hosted on Windows Server 2008 servers only, the Windows Server 2008 mode can be enabled, as shown in Figure 15-10
