In a previous walkthrough (Replicating Public Folders), we added a new replica of the Accounts public folder to the default public-folder store on server Box16 in the Seattle administrative group by modifying the Replication tab properties of the Accounts public folder on Box14 in Vancouver There s a simpler way of adding replicas in Exchange Say we want to replicate the Projects folder from Box14 to Box16 Open System Manager and navigate to the Public Folder Instances node under Public Folder Store (Box16) under the First Storage Group on Box16 in Seattle The Details pane should display the Accounts replica and other system folders Now right-click on Public Folder Instances and select All Tasks Add Replica to open the Public Store dialog box (Figure 1814) Expand the tree to select the Projects folder and click OK to create a replica of Projects on Box16 After a few minutes, verify that the new replica has been added by using the methods described previously We can remove a replica of a public folder from a public-folder store just as easily as we added it However, make sure all replicas of the folder are fully In Sync before removing any of them
